Warning to all Boat owners

Navigators and General (N&G) have announced that boat break-ins have risen by 20 percent in 2008.

Boats are mainly targeted in the winter months as boat owners don’t tend to return to their boats until the warmer weather arrives. The increases in boat crimes are thought to be a result of the economic downturn.

Thieves are targeting metal, diesel, radios, navigation systems and personal entertainment equiptment. N
