Thieves steal Outboard Engine from Boat

A boats outboard engine was stolen whilst it was harboured at a marina at Gortgole Road in Portglenone. It was discovered by its owner who believes the theft happened at around 7.35pm on June 26th.
On June 30th another theft occurred in the area, this time a fishing rod and spinning reel had been stolen from the boat, which was being kept close to the marina of the engine theft.
The thefts are being investigated by Ballymena Police, who are requesting that anyone with information, or if any unusual activity was spotted at the time of the thefts to contact crimestoppers on 0800 555111, or alternatively 0845 600 8000.
