The Southampton Boat Show, which will be open from 11th – 20th of September, will be host to The Wooden Boatbuilders Trade Association this year.
The Wooden Boatbuilders Trade Association, which was founded 20 years ago will be displaying individually crafted wooden boats, including traditional and modern designs by 7 of its member companies including North Quay Marine, The Slipway Cooperative and Lakeland Wooden Boats.
WBTA was developed to encourage the use of green materials in the design and use of the wooden boats. Its members come from all over Britain as well as oversees, each of whom has had to prove their wooden boat building skills to be accepted for membership.
