Southampton Boat Show hosts new Watersports feature
Posted on August 08th 2008
The 40th anniversary of the PSP Southampton Boat Show, which is due to take place from 12th – 21st September will be hosting a new feature to the show named the H20 Zone.
The H20 zone will allow visitors to take part in family-friendly water activities, such as sculling, canoeing and kayaking. These will be closely monitored by The British Canoe Union and The Royal Yachting Association who will provide each user with safety gear.
The watersports zone will also give visitors the opportunity to try out windsurfing, dinghy sailing and a rigid raider capsule simulation system. This will recreate the real-life situations that the Royal Marines will experience for rapid beach and riverbank insertions.
