Rivertime Boat Trust launch Boat for Disabled
Posted on May 19th 2008
A 42 foot boat has been custom built, designed specifically for disabled children to provide excursions on the Thames, from Windsor to Oxford.
The ‘Rivertime’ is planned to be launched by Trustees of the Rivertime Boat Trust next month, once Alpha Craft of Norfolk have finished building the Boat.
The Trust was set up by retired couple, Simon and Pat Davis who have raised thousands of pounds by 140 donors to make there dream into a reality.
Once the boat has been tested in Norfolk within the next 2 weeks, they are hoping for it to be craned into the Thames and have it operational by 9th June.
