Plans for annual boat show revealed

Scotland will be hosting its 16th annual traditional boat festival at the Harbour of Portsoy in July, which will be displaying an array of traditional boats from afar in the fishing town, as well as entertainment and food.
Due to the popularity of the show it has been extended by two days this year. The Salmon Bothy, which opened at last year’s show, has been opened as a fully fledged museum with history of the fishing town and its salmon fishery.
Seminars will take place in amongst the excitement with discussions from people around the world on everything to do with maritime which will take place around the harbour. There will also be other events taking place, including a Friday Night Concert, Family Fun Adventure Land and a fun run.
