New Submersible Powerboat to go on sale

A 31ft submersible powerboat is looked to go on sale in 2010. This will be the first small craft built with the horsepower, sea keeping and range to allow operation on the high seas.

Created by inventor Reynold Marion the powerboat is capable of a surface speed of 40 knots, it can dive to a depth of 600ft and stay under water for up to 20 hours carrying a maximum of five people.

The submersible powerboat design is currently being marketed to port security, submerged infrastructure maintenance and inspection. Mi2International have already ordered the first four production models.
