Liverpool to host new boat show
Posted on November 16th 2009
2011 is to see Liverpool host a new boat show, to oversee the new project is Sir Robin Knox-Johnson who has been given the role of Steering Group chairman. Sir Knox-Johnson will be working closely with the Northwest Development agency and Liverpool on this project for the launch of the first show in April 2011.
Liverpool is the ideal city to host the brand new event as it prides itself as one of Britain's largest docks. The Albert Dock is one of Liverpool's busiest docks and is the largest group of Grade 1 listed buildings in the UK for which it has won many awards.
It seems there is no better place to host the new event and organisers are very confident that the show will attract many of its 25 million visitors from local residents.
