Kidnapped family held by pirates

Pirates have kidnapped 4 European people off the Gulf of Aden. The captives are a German couple and a child along with the skipper of the vessel.
The hijack happened on Monday and the only contact has been made through an intermediary. It has been said that the child has become ill and may need some medical attention
The countries security minister has said that he is now launching a rescuer attempt to rescue the captive family.
This has also happened to many other boats and the UN has now set up war ships to pursue the pirates.
