House hit by runaway car
Posted on March 11th 2009
A black Audi A3 rolled 40ft down a steep driveway yesterday before ploughing into the front of a neighbour’s house. A concrete pillar was hit with such force that it sent the block of destruction 10ft into the Paignton bungalow.
Fortunately nobody was hurt in this accident, and if it wasn’t for the concrete pillar in the driveway there could have been more damage.
The owner of the car who asked to remain anonymous said there was only 6,000 miles on the clock, and was certain that he had put the handbrake on.
Accidents like this can’t be avoided but insuremyhouse.co.uk can help ease the financial worry on your house insurance.
