Heavy rain and gail force winds to continue this week

The met office has warned another week of heavy rain and gail force winds in South East England, Wales and Scotland. It has already battered 3 ships out at sea and looks to continue.
The Riverdance ferry, that run aground in Blackpool last Thursday, has come to rest over a sewage outlet, acting as a plug. This may cause sewage to back up into homes and businesses.
On Friday a Banana Boat from Costa Rica was battered by waves on its way to Dover, losing 90 containers in the rough sea. The captain and 5 of his crew were taken to a nearby hospital.
Elsewhere on St Kilda in Scotland, a Spanish trawler has run aground threatening the Islands rare bird population due to stray rats leaving the ship. The National Trust has laid down traps hoping that it will keep the rats away from puffins, gannets and guillemots.
