Fishermans boat gets stuck in the mud
Posted on February 20th 2009
A fisherman was caught out at the weekend as his fishing boat became stuck on one of Burnham Towns Beaches.
The fisherman, who was returning from a day’s angling, got stuck in the soft sand and mud as he came to shore. Both the vessel and the trailer began to sink in the town’s notorious soft sand and mud near the Burn-ham’s jetty.
The fisherman attempted to pull the boat and its trailer from the sand but came in to even more trouble as they all got stuck. Luckily BARB, a local charity that runs Burnham’s hovercrafts was on the beach and was able to pull the Fishermans vehicle and boat to safety.
