Dolphin joins the party

A dolphin in Florida, United States has recently risen to fame after jumping aboard to join Dee Boge's party on her 22-foot deck boat on Tuesday 4, August.
Boge was returning from Goodland Island of the coast of Florida after lunch with her friends and their family, after spotting a school of swimming dolphins, Boge and her party moved in to take a closer look.
However, after enjoying the spectacular acrobatics of the mammals, one slightly over confident dolphin landed in the gangway of Boge's vessel. Boge described the incident as "unbelievable" and was quite taken aback by the shock.
Marine conservationists and officers from Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and Collier County Animal Control joined Boge's vessel during the afternoon, after advising Boge and her team to keep the dolphin wet and turned on its stomach.
After an examination of the aquatic animal, taking measurements and timing his breathing, the dolphins dorsal fin was marked with a water resistant marker for future identification and then released by stretcher into the sea.
Staff form Rookery Bay concurred Boge's disbelief remarking that such intelligent animals as bottle nose dolphins can often avoid such trips experience by Boge's dolphin, although less clever aquatic animals have been known to land on boats.
