British couple attacked by pirates in Thailand
Posted on March 27th 2009
Pirates attacked a British couple as they travelled around an island off the cost of Thailand.
Three men boarded the couples boat. The pirates boarded the couple’s yacht while they slept. They attempted to steal the dingy from the yacht when the couple tried to stop them; they killed the man and tied the women up. They held her captive for 8 – 12 hours.
She managed to get help once they left her £300,000 yacht.
The wife of the murdered man is recovering in a Thai hospital and will return to Britain as soon as she is well enough to travel.
