Boat Insurance News: British Teenager achieving great things

A 17 year old British teenager is attempting to become the world’s youngest person to sail around the world.
The teenager from Potters Bar, herts has travelled passed the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa and Tasmania and south east cape of New Zealand. He will be passing Cape Leeuwin South Australia shortly. The youngster has been travelling at a steady 38knots of wind and is clocking up some fantastic speeds. He will be taking a northerly route soon to avoid any storms that might pass.
His rival a 17 year old from California has been stuck on an island in the south Atlantic for more than two weeks waiting for repairs to be completed on his engine and auto pilot. He has to travel more than 4000 miles across the Atlantic and into the Caribbean and 3000 miles back towards California by June which is known as the hurricane season if he wants to try win back the race.
