Boats are made for the water
Posted on March 24th 2009
A Linssen 410 boat had its hull damaged yesterday as it was being lifted back into the water by the brand new travel hoist. The incident occurred at Dean & Reddyhoff’s new flagship marina in Portland, Dorset, after one of the legs fell down a manhole.
Insurers are currently working to satisfy all affected parties, and to prevent this incident happening again the manhole has been filled with concrete.
