Boat Insurance News: Boat stolen from home in Airlie

A motorboat worth £20,000 has been stolen from a driveway in Airlie, near Kirriemuir. The theft occurred sometime between Saturday 13th and Monday 15th of February.
The vessel is white in colour with blue and yellow stripes running down its side. The vessel is the new Regal 1800 LSR, fitted with a Mercury Mercruiser d1.7 engine. At the time of the theft the 6ft boat was stored on its trailer covered by a custom made tarpaulin.
A spokesman from the Tayside police said: "Anyone who was in the area and saw anyone any suspicious people or vehicles, or anyone who knows where this boat is now, should call Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222, or speak to any officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0300 111 2222."
