A plea to take care at sea
Posted on March 11th 2009
Harwich lifeboat crew has urged the public to stay safe this year when they go out on the water.
Easter is traditionally the start of the sailing season and although we can hope for brisk winds and a calm ocean, Mother Nature does not always provide.
Terry Corner, Harwich lifeboat station’s RNLI safety team leader, has asked that everyone planning to go out on a boating trip is to take maximum precautions, and make sure that they keep anyone ashore that they are itinerary and kept up to date.
For anymore information on safety feel free to call Mr Corner on 07711576843.
