2010 Boat Show Cancelled
Posted on March 23rd 2009
Due to the recession, Excel has cancelled next years British Motor Show.
The British Marine Federation were hoping to increase boat sales by introducing their boats too a wider market. The show promised to be the show of the year; it would allow visitors to enjoy the sun and experience boats on the water and not just in a display.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders believes that the credit crunch has placed the automotive sector under pressure and larger manufacturers are feeling the uncertainty of British boating in the future.
The show will return once the economy returns to normal.
