2008 Boat Race to be opened by Princess Royal

The 2008 round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race, which is due to take part in June, will be opened by the President of the Royal Yachting Association, The Princess Royal.
The opening will take place at the Royal Naval Club and Royal Albert Yacht Club by the Princess Royal the day before the race begins at Portsmouth, where 40 race and production boats will set off around Britain on a 1,600 mile course.
The boat race will start off at Southsea caste at 9am on 21st June 2008.
