16 year old to single handily circle globe.

A 16-year-old Californian sailor named Zac Sunderland is aiming to become the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe single handed, setting off from California next month.
The young sailor has recently purchased an islander 36, which he is currently fitting out. He has so far fitted out the standing and running rigging, the stanchions, chain plates and lifelines; he has also fitted new keel boats and a custom fibreglass hard dodger.
With 15,000 miles already under his belt the 16 year old has some experience, however he looks to be up for a challenge as it has been reported that another 16 year old names Josh Clark from Panama who is planning to make a similar trip.
